Author's Notes: For all my cooing over the bunny photo and an intense desire to give Obi-Wan's creche-lings a pet bunny, reading this quote for a third time snapped a picture of Anakin doing something dumb that involved speed, and Obi-Wan's look of horror at being dragged into it. Not quite what I had originally envisioned, but still keeping in the spirit of the thing :D

It had been a special treat for the younglings as a reward for a job well done over the past year. Of course, all the younglings had wanted to surprise their favourite Jedi Master, despite the fact that he was neither their Crèche Master nor their Clan Leader. When word got out to the other Masters, they all jumped on board. After all, if anyone could use some lightening up, it was Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The languid country-side rolled by, the stunning greenery nothing like the preserved contents of the bio-domes on Coruscant.

"Which is good for us," Obi-Wan replied, just as serene, yet with a wry touch of amusement colouring his words. "We have enough fighting to deal with in the skirmishes bordering this sector. The last thing we need is heightened political unrest."

Author's Notes: Jag chose funny, when I was debating on whether to go serious or silly with this one. Some point around midnight last night I came up with the perfect idea.... If anything in this fic makes no sense to you, that just means you haven't read (this one) or (this one).

He gazed down into the large, adoring eyes that pierced him, with a sense of annoyance and nostalgia. He recalled standing like this nearly a life-time ago, hands tucked in his sleeves, and unmoving. The only differences where the place, the time, and the fact that Obi-Wan had aged six years since his last visit. Obi-Wan's attention didn't waiver, even as the Councillor exclaimed a cordial greeting as he noticed the Jedi, offering only a polite "Indeed" in reply to "Master Jedi, it has been too long!" His tone, to those that knew him well, stated that it had not been long enough. Fortunately, the Councillor didn't pick up on the implied meaning, nor did he take slight to Obi-Wan's distraction. No, the Councillor seemed delighted at this reunion between friends, and was content to wait for the two to finish revelling in the other's presence. It was remarkable how the creature sitting at Obi-Wan's feet hadn't seemed to age a single day, as Solomon's tail twitched happily at being reunited with his Jedi playmate.

Author's Notes: My note to this is the same as Bill Waterson's in regards to the infamous "Spaghetti Incident" that is mentioned in a couple of his strips: I haven't written out what actually happened, and possibly never will, because I know that whatever ideas run through your heads after you read this will be more fantastic, insane and infinitely more entertaining than anything I can ever come up with. Make me proud :)

In all his years as a Jedi, Obi-wan Kenobi never thought he'd see the level of destruction that now lay before him; sprawled haphazardly, and covering every inch of ground, the amount of debris was phenomenal. The few remaining structures were more skeletal than anything, and the scorch marks on them - as well as the walls - were disturbing, to say the least. Obi-wan couldn't quite fathom what could have caused those marks, nor did he really want to know. He also didn't want to know why paint was peeling, why the air smelled charred, and why many of the things he stepped on cracked and crumbled into dust.

Obi-Wan didn't bother taking more than a few steps into the room. There was no need to, and there was definitely no space to go any further. Instead, he surveyed the wreckage, slack-jawed and with his hands on his hips, before closing his eyes slowly and pinching the bridge of his nose as exasperation replaced shock and awe. He sighed deeply and used the Force to sift through the currents and eddies swirling throughout the room, searching for one thread in particu...aha!

Obi-Wan opened his eyes and fixed his gaze on where his sixteen-year-old Padawan was hiding, along with two others, partially shielded by one of those skeletal structures. He narrowed his eyes as Anakin poked his head around the corner.

"Anakin. What, in the name of the Force, did you do to the Library?"
