After teasing the poor kitten, Obi-Wan sauntered to his workrooms, making sure she would be able to follow him.

He left the door open for her, so she could wander in, as well.

The main room looked like a gym, almost. The floor was carpeted with exercise-mats and there was some basic equipment such as weights against the walls.

He striped down to his waist, and began to do basic stretches. Yes, he was killing time before Max arrived...

He actually does give a damn about people. He's screwed in the head that way.

He lays next to her on his side and the kitten gets wiped down. He nibbles on her ear before whispering, "Now, wasn't that much better than driving yourself crazy in that booth downstairs?"

Sure he does. That's why he just cheated on his wife with a complete and total stranger. Hell... he doesn't even know the kitten's name and vice versa. So yeah... we really call that caring.

Max on the other hand has nothing to lose from all of this. It isn't like she's seeing anyone. "Mmm... a whole lot better."

Yes, well, names make things more complicated. At least now he can ignore her without a name bubbling up in his head to distract him.

"Good. Now you'll be able to curl up in that booth a sated and contented kitten."

Or she could just be ever so cruel and give him a name or her designation number. Really screw with his head. Because you know... he'd deserve it. Just like if he ever mentions being married she'll deck him and he'll deserve that too.

The heartless thing to do would be to dress her and kick her out. But he knows better than that.

"Well then, whenever you're ready to face the general population again, you are free to go."

In stark contrst to his words, he leaves himself open for cuddling, if she chooses.

That's very true. And if he tried to do that he'd hurt Obi-Wan and we're sure that he doesn't want to get hurt again. And, no, she doesn't want to go just yet.

The kitty purrs and does, however, cuddle up to him. Yep, contented kitty if we do say so ourselves.

We thinks it's wise to just leave them here for the time being.

Because really, there's nothing else for us to do.
