He falls forward as his hands fall free. He's crying uncontrollably now, too.
After a moment, he manages to turn and drag himself to where Padme is. He just lays next to her on his stomach, one hand reaching out to grip a piece of her clothing.
And he's there, tears streaming down his face, hiccupping softly.
